Denver area
| The Denver Chess Club meets on Tuesday nights at 1st Presbyterian Church at 1st and Acoma Streets (1 block west of Broadway) in the basement. Please use the entrance on 1st. The club meets from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. Players may come and play pick up games (regular, quick and blitz) at no charge. There is a rated game every week as a part of a month-long tournament. The cost for the rated game is $6 for members and $8 for non Denver Chess Club members. There are also lectures presented between 6:30 and 7:00 periodically. In addition, the Denver Chess Club runs Saturday tournaments throughout the year. New temporary quaters for the Aurora Chess Club! As many of you know, the ACC is having some troubles. Due to cutbacks the Aurora Public Library system wants to limit the reservation of rooms in such a way as to make the situation for our weekly chess club impossible. Currently we are fighting for an exception to policy to get things returned to the way they've been for th past 20+ years. That may take a while. In the mean time we are meeting at the Smoky Hill Library (Smoky Hill and Biscay). Contact me for questions; Jeff, 303-210-2160. We are keeping our normal time and day; Saturdays, 1-4 pm. Chess Knights meets on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday Evening from 7-9pm. From 470 & Broadway, on Broadway go 1.3 miles south, at the light, turn right onto Highland Ranch Parkway, go 0.2 miles, to the first light, turn left onto Ridgeline Blvd., go 0.2 miles, the library is on the left. Enter at the south west door, we play in the basement. Free coffee or hot tea, plenty of free parking. No cost to join our club. We usually start off playing speed chess, then switch to bug house. |

| Right Move Public Chess Club of Colorado Springs, CO is a weeknight chess club meeting every Thursday evening at the following location beginning at 6:00pm and concluding at 9:30pm. Centennial Chess Club offers beginner to intermediate chess for kids & teens.
