Welcome to the Colorado State Chess Association (CSCA) website.

We are a registered non-profit organization and promote chess throughout Colorado. Our officers and leaders are unpaid volunteers and gifts to the association are tax deductable (501(c) 3). We are an affiliate of the United States Chess Federation (USCF).

The CSCA organizes State Chess Championships and raises funds for the winners to go to national chess events. We also produce a newsletter featuring local chess news. Our Scholastic Chess division led by Tom Nelson organizes chess activities for children and young people ages up to 18
